Radio Button States won't change correctly when selected
Hello Heros,
I'm really sorry to ask you a novice question. I tried looking into the forum but I was not able to find the exact answer to the problem.
I have 3 radio buttons on the base layer. I have attached triggers to each of them.
While on Base Layer, clicking on RB2, RB3 will show Layer 2, and Layer 3 respectively
Similarly on Layer 2, clicking on RB1 will hide Layer 2, RB 3 will show Layer 3
and
on Layer 3, clicking on RB1 will hide Layer 3, RB 2 will show Layer 2
What I am trying to fix / achieve is the following:
When on Layer 1, 2 and 3, RB1, RB2, RB3 should be in selected status respectively.
The triggers are working and I am able to switch between layers, but the status of the radio Buttons are not correctly set.
I have attached the gif version of the video for your reference.
Thanks a lot for your valuable time.
Hello Souveek!
I'm happy to help! Thanks for sharing the gif with us. I can see how the states of the radio buttons aren't reflecting which layer you're on. It's hard to tell what might be getting in the way without seeing the .story file. Do you mind sharing the .story file with us in this discussion or privately in a support case?

It's hard to troubleshoot without seeing the .story file. Based on your description, it sounds like you have copies of the buttons on every layer. And that causes problems.
For this type of click-and-reveal interaction, do this:
- Insert buttons on the base.
- Put the buttons into a button set. Then the program will only allow one button to be in the Selected state at a time. For more info: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-360/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-work-with-button-sets
- Add a trigger to each button that shows the corresponding layer.
- The default setting for Slide Layer Properties is to hide other layers when a layer shows. That means you don't need triggers that hide layers.
The attached file has a simple example of this.
If that isn't the issue with your slide, then I suggest you upload a .story file with that slide.
