Selective Interaction Completion on Rise

Rather than having the options to lock a 'continue' block at the end of a section with either 'all interactions' or 'the one directly above', it would be very helpful to be able to select which interactions must be completed in order for the learner to be able to continue.

Without the ability to add in a voiceover in Rise (a feature I would also like implemented, along with a lot of people over the last 6+ years!!!) I would like to add in an audio block at the beginning of each section, for people to listen to a page voiceover if they would like to. However, I am unable to do this, as the continue block is locked until completion of all interactions and that includes playing the complete audio within this.

Having the ability to untick this, as well as other non-mandatory interactions, but keeping others mandatory for completion would help me to make my work far more accessibility compliant.

  • Hey MDeAsha! Did you find a workaround for this? We are experiencing the same issue with adding a transcript as an accordion block while requiring activities are completed in order to advance. That feature to be able to select specific activity blocks to complete in order to proceed would be a good feature add for the Rise software.
