Re: Pick some out of many with individual response in a given time

The attached file takes advantage of the built-in functionality of a Freeform Pick Many question slide. 

• A attempts number variable counts the attempts. This is done via adding 1 to the variable when the timeline starts on the Try Again layer.
• The feedback on the Try Again has a separate state to show different text when attempts = 2.
• Your timer requires a “jump to slide this slide” trigger on the Try Again layer. That also resets what Storyline counts as the number of attempts. Therefore, there's a trigger to switch to the “Falsch” layer when attempts = 3.

Thus, you only need one variable—and a lot fewer triggers— to get the result you want.
