Reach 360 Quiz Versions and Reports
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for the response. I had to make a few grammatical edits to the quiz after the first few learners took the quiz. I do see that I can go back to an earlier version of the quiz and view the responses of these first learners. I was just wondering if there is an easier way to view all of the learners thus far as opposed to toggling back and forth between versions. I'm guessing that is not possible. It is unfortunate that a change in grammar caused the report view to break. I will have to try to make sure I don't need to change the quiz once it's published. Let me know if I'm understanding this correctly and thank you for your help.
Hi CraigStruble1
Glad to see Kelly has been helping you!
The behavior you've described is expected when a quiz is updated, and republished to Reach 360. When you republish a course that contains a quiz, Reach 360 treats each published version as a distinct entity for reporting purposes. This is because even minor changes alter the underlying question/answer identifiers. Also, to maintain data integrity, Reach 360 separates learner attempts tied to the specific version they completed. Currently, there's no built-in way to aggregate learner results across multiple quiz versions into a single Reach 360 report. I'm happy to submit this as a feature request on your behalf!
Also, the process of toggling between versions, as you've been doing is the best practice for this type of scenario. If possible when moving forward, we suggest avoiding republishing a quiz after enrollments begin unless it's absolutely necessary. For small grammatical corrections, some admins will add a note in the course description to communicate this to their learners.
Please let me know if you need anything else!
