Read a variable from the web object in the storyline

Hi, I have ordered a line with a specified length inside an index.html. And I saved it on the computer and entered it in the storyline web object. I see line in storyline . I want to show the line length as a variable in the storyline. Is it possible?i want send and get variable between local html file and storyline project.
