Recent File List

There are situations where people store files in 2 different locations (same name) in order to have a backup. When you hover the pointer over the file in the Recent File List, why doesn't it show the...

It would be nice to see a pop-up with the file path in the Recent list. You can submit a feature request here: Product feature request | Articulate

  • Submitting a request doesn't guarantee that a feature will be implemented. But the 
    number of people who request a feature might have some impact on the decision
    making process. 

In the meantime, here are some options to avoid confusion.

Always open a given project from the same location. To back it up, do either of the following:

  • Do "Save As," but add a version date to the file name.
  • Never do "Save As." Instead, copy the file, and then paste it in the backup location. Or duplicate the file, and move that copy to the backup location.
