Recommendations: New flipbook software?
Hello Heroes,
We have used, and recommended KviSoft's Flipbook Maker to convert PDFs into flipping Flash magazines. But a recent change in the company firewall will no longer allow the software to "phone home", rendering it permanently in demo mode.
So... anyone have recommendations for flipbook software with these criteria?
- Primarily used for stand alone (exe of swf) file creation of Flash-based pdfs
- Must be able to embed video files (not just link to YouTube)
- Must be able to run on destktop
- Not freeware/shareware as some of our users will need support
Also, does anyone have specific feedback on these guys who seem to fit the above?

it is particularly important if your users use mobile devices without Flash support
My favourite is www.flippingbook.com there are a host of customisable options and you can remove the watermark so it looks like an entirely inhouse production.

I see that the flipbook software of kvi's makes this kind of books of turnable pages. I tried it but not free.As I cann't afford to it and finally uss the opensource Issuu for making flipbooks.

I think edelpaper.com might meet most of your criteria, only that it’s an web application. It turns PDFs directly into flip books and you can host it on your own servers. Also it’s quite reasonably priced.
