What is the duration of your SCORM? Best practise is to divide your eLearning content into multiple short SCORMs which are easier for eLearners to consume, will improve engagement and focus, result in better completion rates and a more positive user experience. E.g. instead of:
- Everything you need to know about doing The Thing (2 hours)
You could structure it as:
- Why we do The Thing (15 minutes)
- Preparing to do The Thing (12 minutes)
- Your legal obligations for doing The Thing (6 minutes)
- Doing part 1 of The Thing (18 minutes)
- Doing part 2 of The Thing (13 minutes)
- Doing part 3 of The Thing (14 minutes)
- Reviewing your work on The Thing (11 minutes)
- Sending The Thing for approval (8 minutes)
- Incorporating feedback on The Thing (14 minutes)
- Publishing The Thing (9 minutes)
