Referencing Variables Within Quiz Responses

Here is the solution I came up with for achieving the original interaction idea. The downside is that I have not actually met the challenge as presented above so that is still open.
I ended up using more variables and triggers than I had hoped: 16 and eight, respectively. The upside is that I gained the ability to story both the original priorities and the rearranged ones for further use. A sample story file is attached. Perhaps someone will find this useful.
