Remove cover photo filter in Rise
Hi, YaninaAudisio1!
Thanks for confirming that the issue is only with the first image you uploaded. You can try editing the image prior to uploading it to your Rise course, although it's hard to predict the end result without seeing the image. There aren't specific requirements for the images you use, but the higher the quality, the better it is when scaled. Here are a few best practices for uploading images to Rise 360. I hope this helps!
Hi YaninaAudisio1,
Thanks for reaching out!
I uploaded an image and changed the overlay to 0, which lightened it up. I have a few questions to help me troubleshoot.
- Did you crop the photo before uploading it?
- Are you using a specific theme?
- Does this appear with multiple photos you upload?
If you're comfortable uploading a screenshot or the image file you're using, it'd be helpful to determine next steps. You can share those here or privately in a support case, and we'll delete them once troubleshooting is complete!

Hi KellyAuner
The photo was not cropped. I'm using Rise theme.
I tried with another photo and the dark background disappeared.
Thank for your help!
