Remove step 1, 2, 3 etc from process pre built lesson

Is there any way to amend the settings in the process lesson so you do not see srep 1, step 2 etc? I would like to use it more like a regular slider

  • Hi everyone, 🎉

I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:

There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the new feature!

  • Hi Kathryn! You can remove the word "Step" from the title, but not the number.

Hover over the process block, and click the Settings button. Type a single space (spacebar key) in the Step Label field, shown below. That will remove the word "Step" from the process block. I hope that helps!

Where is the Step Label field in the current version of Rise? I don't see it in Content, Style, or Format.

Hi Alyssa, this used to work fine but now when I click on the Settings button, there is no Step Label option and no Zoom on Click option, but they are both replaced by a background colour option?

        Hi Nelson,

Just restart your browser and the settings should work normally again.

  • Hi, has there been any update on removing the "Step 1" "Step 2" titles from a Process interaction on Rise 360?

  • Thanks Articulate team. Love to see the way this new product is progressing

  • Hi there Christopher!

Happy to announce that you can now customize the default text labels in Rise. This gives you the ability to make built-in course elements, such as buttons and lesson headers, say what you want them to say.

Brian has started a great discussion here if you'd like to check it out and you can find our support documentation here.

As always, we keep our Rise Version History up to date too.

  • Hi Christopher,

We're working on a feature to allow you to edit the built in labels (such as the step titles and the "start course") so you'd be able to change those text elements to read as you wish or even in another language. This feature is set to be released in Q1 - so stay tuned!
