Removing Character in Rise Scenarios
Is there a way to just completely remove the characters in the scenarios in Rise? None of them fit the style of my course, it would be better to not have a character at all.

I'm not aware of a way to remove a character or not use one at all.
Even if it was possible, it may look strange if the speech balloon is not associated with anything/anybody.
What type of character would work for you?

I have the same question. I would like to use my own characters that I have developed for the course.
Seems I'll need to develop my own scenario using my character in SL.Thanks for contributing, Rebecca. We're tracking a request to use custom characters in scenarios. I'll tag this discussion to be updated with any changes that will help.

After exporting the SCORM xapi file we've successfully swapped out the characters (from the assets folder) to our own... a bit of photoshop work but tailors the characters to what we and our client needs! Custom characters would be fantastic though!

There is another discussion in this group here on how to accomplish this by Matt Bassuk, perhaps this will help:

That's a great workaround - thank you!

Great workaround, we still would love to see the Rise team step up and offer the option of replacing the characters with custom or no characters at all. Also would be ideal to have the option of removing the background blur, sometimes you want the full background to be visible especially as you may be able to add other characters if the scenario image can be tinkered with.

Has articulate worked on adding this functionality?
Hi Beverly! Custom characters in scenario blocks isn't a feature we're developing right now, but you can try the workaround mentioned here!

Just as a thought, following on from Matt and Glen's approach, replace the asset files with blank layers (images). I may try it with a title box.
