Renewal has turned into a New account nightmare

Without going into detail, our expected simple renewal has been delivered as a new system. Not what we asked for, wanted or expected but now we have to deal with it.

I have some questions.
My email is associated with both systems. I have not logged into the new system because my email and password log into the old (no expired) system.
I have a 'Welcome to Articulate' email with a link, but no password and I am not comfortable using the forgot password option before speaking to support because I have the two systems using the email.
I am waiting for Articualte support to get back to me, but while I continue to wait, does anyone have experience with this? At the moment I am stuck with an expired system that I can log into and I can't access the new one. My main concerns are:

  1. Quick links - if the content is transferred, will the current quick links stay exactly the same.
  2. What would happen if I triggered the 'forgot password'
  3. Is it possible for the payment (to a reseller) to renew the existing account instead of having the new account and spend effort moving content as that would surely be the easiest option.

Thank you all very much

  • While I still wait for support, for anyone else in this situation, I have worked the answers to my immediate concerns and like everything in life 'It is easy when you know how....':

    1. You can have multiple Articulate accounts via one email address but looks like you can only be a content creator in one account as it wont let me activate on the new system.
      1. You swap from the accounts page by selecting the small 'change team' link at the top right
    2. My content does seem to have migrated to the new account
    3. Quick Links: these were checked by creating a quick link of an existing course from the new account and comparing it to the link from the old account. Thankfully they are the same.

Now I think I will contact live chat about assigning myself as a content creator on the new system because I need to get working...

  • I think you would need to contact support, the quick links would be broken. I didn't think you could have two accounts on the same email address.

  • Hi T_J

So sorry to hear that you've run into this setback when renewing Articulate 360!

Great to see that Phil has been helping you. I noticed that you've also been working in a case with my teammate, Ryan. Great move! We can continue the conversation there to keep all information in one place.

StevenBenassi I would love to continue the conversation but it is like radio silence here for me! I expect time differences may be playing a part.
