replacing picture naming issue

I often rename my picture objects from the default 'pic' to a name that describes the picture. If I later replace that picture, the actual file name 'xx.jpg' doesn't change to the new picture. The...

Hi, I have this issue with image names:

  1. Renamed Dog.png to Cat.png in Windows 10 file explorer (this image had not yet been used in Storyline).
  2. Inserted Cat.png into Storyline 3 (updated July 2020)
  3. File name in Storyline appears as the old name Dog.png

and

  1. Made a copy of Pony.png in Windows 10 file explorer 
  2. Renamed the copy Horse.png in Windows 10 file explorer
  3. Inserted both images into Storyline
  4. Both images appear as Pony.png
