Replay - How to Rotate Video
Greetings,
I have a video file that has imported on its side in Replay. How do I rotate 90 degrees?

Hi, I recently experience that same issue when I import the video to articulate storyline 2. What I notice is that my video type was .MOV, I used the windows video editor on my machine to save it as a .MP4 then reimported. This time it imported properly with the correct rotation.

i'm switching to Camtasia for video training creation. we are incorporating more and more video and need to be able to edit / manipulate the content quickly and smoothly.

Hi all,
I had the same issue, and even after using the screen rotating website suggested, replay still rotated it! Grrr.
I used the suggestion to upload it to storyline and save it as a video- this seems to have worked. I didnt even have to rotate it. :)
I have then opened the storyline output (video) in replay and I can now edit it.
Thanks to the community for a variety of solutions!

Thanks Katie. This worked for me too. Seems that the .mov files may self-correct when playing in WMP, but don't do so when imported. Importing into Storyline, exporting as mp4, then importing into Replay worked!

There are both downloadable applications and online converters available. Good luck!

HI, I am having the same issue - please update when you have found a fix!
Hi Anita,
You'll want to use a video editing tool instead of a Presentation tool (like Powerpoint).
I'll leave it to the community to share their recommendations of video editing tools with you!

Hi Katie,
Thanks for your quick response.
The original video file is sideways.
I tried:
* importing video in PowerPoint
* Rotating video in PowerPoint
* Resaving video
still did not work :(
Hi there, Anita. Great question!
For now, there isn't a way to rotate a video file in Replay. You'll need to use an outside tool to rotate the video before import.
Is the original video file sideways, or does it only appear that way when imported into Replay?
