Replay - not capturing whole screen

I'm trying to use Replay to capture screen and presenter video. I've moved the preview selection box to the area I want to record, but it only gets a portion of the selection box. Then I tried again using the full screen capture option, but it cut off the screen again. What is the fix for this?

  • I have this same issue. I think it has to do with the size of my screen. Would love to hear about a solution; I haven't really had the time to explore resolutions, etc.

    We've had a few folks run into similar, and there are two tips I'd have you look into: 

    • Check the DPI/resolution of your screen. Use as close to 100% as possible 
    • If using two monitors, disable one monitor while recording.

  • Wanted to reply in case anyone else runs across this.

    Per Ashley's suggestion, I made the scale 100%, which didn't make the change I needed. So I also changed the resolution down to 1920x1080. And that worked! I did not need to disable the second screen.

  • nothing works for me. disables other screens. scale changed to 100%, a resolution to 1920X1080... records half a screen and mouse clicks doesn't correspond on the recording.

    I'm running into a similar issue. The first time I recorded, my video was full screen but my mouse clicks were off center. I followed advice here to adjust the scale of my display to 100%. That made my mouse clicks show up in the right place, but now there's a background bar around the browser even though that doesn't show up when I'm recording (that happens whether I change my resolution, disable second display, or whatever). Is there a good fix here?
