Replay 360: Sound is choppy after publishing video
Hi E-Learing Heroes community! I created a video in Replay 360 with audio and JPEG images of PowerPoint slides. After publishing, the sound 'jumps,' especially near the end, but the original audio seems fine. I’ve tried publishing several times, and the issue occurs at random points.

Hi SylvieBlanger-4! What is the file type for the audio you've inserted into Replay 360? Just for reference, Replay supports these audio formats. I would also recommend importing the audio files into a new Replay project to see if there is any difference in how the audio renders.
Please do keep us updated!

I have a similar issue. I'm importing a short 3-minute video saved as a .WMV file. When I open the video in Replay, the audio is very choppy, but the original version is fine. Is this because of the file type?
Hi ElyseSmith-0e4a,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand that you're inserting a video into Replay 360 and the audio isn't playing as expected.
- Can you help me understand if you're experiencing this choppy audio while editing in Replay 360 or after publishing the project to Review 360 or a Video File?

- I can confirm that .WMV files are included in our supported video formats in Replay 360.
- Are you experiencing this with any other files or just this specific video file?
- If you import the video file into a new Replay project, does the audio quality change?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Luciana,
The audio is choppy when I insert my source video into Replay in the .wmv format. I also tried to publish it but had the same choppy audio. Also, I have not experienced this before and have not tried other .wmv files. I have not had this issue with any other videos in other formats.
Hi ElyseSmith-0e4a!
Glad to see Luciana has been helping you. Thanks for following up!
I tested the behavior on my end, using a sample .WMV file imported to Replay 360. When both previewing the file, and after publishing to Review 360, I did not detect any choppiness from the audio. For your reference, I've attached a zipped copy of the .WMV file I used for testing.
As a troubleshooting step, I suggest performing a repair of your Replay 360 installation to see if that corrects the issue. If that doesn't do the trick, do you mind sharing the problematic .WMV file so we can take a closer look? Feel free to upload that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
