I agree with all of the comments above. It's a terrible workflow to ask users to change their screen resolution to meet the requirements of your software every time they want to use it. I've spent countless hours trying to figure out what resolution will make the cursor match the screen recording. You can implement features in your software that tell the user that their resolution does not meet requirements before recording, and direct them to where to change it before beginning a recording so no time is wasted.
