Requiring Markers to Complete before advancing

I am trying to require the user to complete the audio file that plays when they click on a marker.  There are multiple markers on the page and I want the user to complete them all before advancing ...

Is the linked article applicable to Storyline 3 as well?  The article indicates "This article applies to: Storyline 1"; I could not find one relating to Storyline 3.  I am trying to determine if this is the best methodology or if there is an updated one for the newer software.  Thanks!
