Is there a way to have the Player menu in restricted mode on first opening the course. But then have it unrestricted when they have been completely through the course and open up the training for revision say?

Hi Kelly, unfortuntely that functionality is not available straight out of the box I believe.
To get this, you would have to create your own Menu and then you have the flexibility to make it behave how you want.
Alternatively, you could create two versions of the course, one with restricted and the second with free menu. And depending on your LMS, you can set it to allow the Learner access to the free menu course once they have completed the restricted one. Not ideal for sure, but it should work.
