Restricting number of attempts at a quiz in Storyline

Hi all,

I need to limit number of attempts at an assessment eg 1 attempt then can be reassigned if it is not passed, with a training intervention in between.

I have found some old threads that involve trigger creations etc but wondering if there is an easier way, its obviously easy to limit attempts at a question but once the file has been left it can be restarted. 

any advice would be appreciated.
