Resume Saved State of Layer properties Storyline 360 latest version
I have quite understood when to use and when not to use the resumed saved state when revisiting. my boss advised to always set to initial upon revisits which makes the learner view every single lay...
I have what I think is a similar problem. We have a game menu slide where the user selects a question. They answer the question and then return to the menu slide to select another question. Instructions need to appear on only the first visit to the menu slide. I put the instructions in a text box with a trigger to hide when the user selects a question and selected Resume saved state. How do I get it to not appear on subsequent visits?

It sounds like using a True/False variable is going to work best for your setup.
I've attached a quick course that I created where a text box only appears when the slide is first visited.
