Retake Rise course if user fails assessment
Is there a way to require the learner to retake a Rise course if they fail the graded quiz at the end? I'm not seeing a way to require the learner to retake the course and have the assessment reset for them after viewing the course lessons again.
Thanks!

Hi Carly,
Thanks for reaching out!
There isn't a way to reset quiz attempts in Rise 360. We are tracking requests for this feature and will let you know once it gets added to our product roadmap.
One workaround you can do is to reset your learner’s progress via the LMS. If this is not an option for you, you may try removing the learner’s registration and re-enrolling the learner in the course.

I am interested in this capability too. Thanks.
Thanks for reaching out, Barbara! I've added your voice to the feature request, so you'll be notified if there are any changes that might help.
In the meantime, here's how we manage feature requests that we receive.

Hi, I need this functionality too. More and more eLearning required test or certification. We need to be able to provide this retake function to users.

Hi AllisonHarris-9! Thanks for reaching out and for wanting to be added to this feature request! We hear that you’d like learners who fail an assessment in Rise to be able to retake the course automatically.
Right now, Rise doesn’t include a built-in option to restart a course after a failed quiz, so resetting progress has to be done manually. We’ve added your name to the feature request so our product team knows this is important to you.

Hi LaurenDuvall , how can we see this topic is tracked and get a chance to be deployed. With increasing number or elearning mandatory in Europe and especially for regulatory reasons, this feature would be highly valuable. Unfortunately today, there is no alternative then creating a new training session and registering the users who failed, unless there is a technical alteranative which exist to allocate twice the same user to the same training session
Thanks for following up, BernardLecaillo! At this time, I don't an estimate of when this feature will make it on our roadmap but when we ship a feature, we do update the discussions that it pertains to. I've share your additional comments with our Product Team so we can continue to track how impactful this feature would be.

The lack of this feature is causing a lot of issues for my clients. We may need to stop recommending the use of Rise if this feature cannot be implemented. Allowing learners to endlessly repeat an assessment without requiring them to review the content does not lend to a meaningful learning environment, or a meaningful and true assessment of skill or understanding.

I agree - I had to rebuild everything in Storyline and will not be able to use Rise. These are requirements from our crediting agency, and they can't be met with Rise.
