I'm happy to take a look at your .story file if you can share it here or through a private link.
I recommend checking the slide properties for your questions. Which option do you have under "When revisiting"?
If it's set to Reset to Initial State, it would explain why the choices are blank after the user initially answered the questions.
As for the translation error, I haven't seen that happening before. Did this start recently for you?
