Is it possible to add more categories to the sorting activity in Rise. I can only see that i can use 4 categories so far. Help me:)

Is there a chance that there is coming a update for more categories? Cant see why there should be a limit.
Hi Johanna,
Great question, but it's not one I've seen asked often! Our product team loves hearing new ideas-- so I'd love for you to share yours with us right here. 😁
Hello Johanna!
The Sorting Activity can have up to 4 categories as you mentioned.
I would split your content into multiple lessons if you need 'more'.
You can check out our documentation here if needed and I look forward to seeing what others in the community have to offer.

I would love the option for more than 4... I'm going to try to make it in storyline instead and pop it in but having it in rise would save time! :)

I'd love the option of more than 4 categories too!
Thanks
Thanks for chiming in, Agilec and Kate! If you want to elaborate, or have other thoughts to share, feel free to reach out to our team here.
In the meantime, could you build a fully customizable Storyline drag-and-drop interaction, and add that to your Rise course?

I have frequently needed the option of more categories in the sorting activity in Rise.

I have a module where I am explaining many job roles within a department. To give learners a way to process and apply all the information I wanted to have each role listed in a category and then have them drop specific scenarios on the role that would handle it. I need way more than four categories to do this, so I also would like to see the ability to add more than four roles. Thanks!

Yes, more than 4 would be great. I'm trying to have students sort drugs into their government Schedules, of which there are 5. This could have really saved me some time.
I submitted a feature request.

Agree. Our team could also use more than 4 categories. We modified our activity but it's not what we really wanted.
I will also submit a feature request.
