Rise 360 - Change a Lesson into a a Quiz
I have been playing around with the software for the last few days and I have created a Quiz within a Lesson.
Is there a way to change this Lesson, so that it is a Quiz?
Hi there, Marcus. There isn't a way to convert a lesson with content to a quiz. They're built a bit differently, internally.

That was my question too, there should be a way to change them, especially if you're putting in filling the blank or multiple-choice assessment questions. The system should stop you and ask don't you want a quiz setting? before you even build the section. Just a suggestion.

Hello,
Is there an update to this? Is there a simple way to convert a lesson full of quiz questions into a quiz block? I inherited a course where the quiz was written into a lesson block and it seems odd that you can even create quiz questions in a lesson as there would be no value to the answers.
Thanks

Hi Jay,
You cannot convert a lesson with Knowledge Check blocks to a Quiz.
We use Knowledge Check blocks within a Lesson, to provide a student the opportunity to attempt questions similar to those used in the formal quiz.
As the Knowledge Check questions are not graded or tracked, these questions serve as a student self-assessment to help them determine if they are ready to take the formal quiz.

And there’s no way to convert a lesson quiz into a regular quiz question? ☹

Hi Jay,
You cannot convert Quiz questions to Knowledge Check blocks in a Lesson.
You need to manually recreate them.

Hello everyone, is there an update about converting a quiz lesson into a knowledge check?
Thanks. - ChristaNovelli-Community Member
Even the ability to copy the questions from a lesson into a new quiz would be great. Is there any way to do that?
Hi Christa!
Happy to share some insight on this!
If you're using a Knowledge Check, you can create a template and then insert the question into a new lesson from the templates.
If you're using a quiz, there is no move feature. However, you can create a question bank and then add the question to the question bank and pull that specific question into the quiz.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Unfortunately, that doesn't help for the situation I had, but thank you for the reply.
I believe most of us landed in this thread due to questions having been inadvertently built into a lesson when they should have been built into a quiz.

I need to convert a lesson into a quiz. I tried the AI-assistant but it keeps generating new questions. Anyone who has a correct prompt?
Hi ChrisDorna,
Thanks for reaching out! In Rise 360 courses, it is not currently possible to directly convert an existing lesson into a quiz lesson. You can utilize AI Assistant to help generate quiz questions based on the course content you have created, but it does not transform an existing lesson into a quiz.
I've shared your thoughts with our product team. If this functionality changes in the future, we'll update this thread so everyone is in the loop!

Hi Luciana,
Would this be a workarround?- Publish course as pdf
- Upload the pdf to the AI of Rise
- Ask the AI to generate a quiz based on the questions in a certain lesson in the pdf
Hello ChrisDorna!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on a possible workaround. You are more than welcome to publish your Rise 360 course as a PDF to use as source content in a brand new Rise 360 course.
- To generate a quiz with AI Assistant, you will need to incorporate a lesson with the specific content you are looking to use so that AI Assistant can draw from this material. Another option is to individually ask the AI Assistant to create questions, and you can modify them as you go. Here's a helpful video for your reference!
