Rise 360: How to add a free response survey question
Hello, Cecilia!
Thanks for letting us know you need a survey block in Rise 360. That's a popular request, and we'll send you an update if we add that feature in the future!
For now, I would suggest designing a survey in a third-party survey tool, then embed the survey seamlessly into your Rise 360 lesson using a Multimedia Embed block. Use this iframe code format for easy embedding! <iframe src="URL HERE"></iframe>
Give it a try, and let me know if you need help along the way. 😁

I have exactly the same question as Cecilia. Could you be more specific? if possible, a step-by-step instruction will be very appreciated and helpful. I tried to embed the code format and it didn't seem to work. (I probably have done it the wrong way, hence I would love to know how to do it right)

Hi Doris! Once you have your embed link for your survey ready, please go the Multimedia > Embed block and replace the link there with your iFrame link.
Let me know if this works for you!

To collect survey responses, I recently tried the Embed block and was able to embed a Google Form that feeds learner responses into a Sheet in our team's shared Drive in real time. It was fairly straightforward once I Googled instructions for preparing the Form to be embedded. While Google Forms aren't used by all companies, this is a really convenient solution for our current needs.
I actually came to this question in search of options for free-form responses of various types for learners to process what they're learning. It would be AMAZING if checkboxes, multiple response, multiple choice, and even card sorting blocks had the option to remove the correct/incorrect feedback given to learners. With this adaptation, think of all the ways we could use those blocks to add to the learner experience!

Hi @alyssa gomez! A question for you regarding this - When using this option , and adding a interactive block to rise is there a way to actually collect the answers in the end of the course?
Just got this question and I´m not sure if this is technically possible..At the moment I just created a free-form in storyline and added this to rise, but can change it to a survey question - althought I don´t know if that makes any difference in saving the answers in the end.
Thanks for your input! :) - VJ693 months agoCommunity Member
Hi there, are there any updates on this question from a Community member? I have just finalised my course and is ready to be published but the course learner survey is the last missing section to be added.

Hi VJ69!
Thanks for checking in on this!
We're still tracking the feature request for a Survey Knowledge Check Block in Rise 360. I've included your voice in the report!
We'll be sure to update you if this enhancement makes it to our product roadmap.
