Rise 360 Quiz
Hi Alyssa,
After 3 failed attempts, how the learner can reset the quiz? Do they need to close and open again the course or should I select the "Reset Learner Progress" in the Rise settings?
Some Learning Management Systems can reset the progress for specific learner's, which will allow the student to retake the quiz again.
Our LMS does not have this functionality, so we would need to remove the student from the course, and reassign them to the same course. This however, will require the student to completely restart the course. For this reason our quizzes are set up to have unlimited tries.
If you republish a Rise course using the "Reset Learner Progress" option, when students launch the newly updated course in your LMS, the progress for ALL students will be reset and they will need to restart the entire course
This will not happen every time a student launches a course -- only the first time a learner launches a newly updated course using the "Reset Learner Progress" option.

Hi Karl,
Thanks for the quick response. Our LMS admin mentioned that they have to reset the course manually when someone fails three times. I think we should consider allowing unlimited attempts. My concern is, if someone passes the quiz, will Rise still prompt them to try again? What settings do you use to prevent that?
