Rise 360 to Absorb LMS: Not tracking user progress
This is a significant issue for us as well. The only way we've found to get around it right now is to break up courses built in Rise and load each lesson into the LMS separately so that course progress can be measured accurately. But this also means that we have to turn off all of the navigation options, because navigation between Rise lessons doesn't work when they have to be broken up in the LMS this way. This is especially an issue when we need to include a Quiz. It becomes awkward and clunky.
We have much less control over the user experience when we have to break courses up and rely on the LMS for lesson navigation and progress tracking within a course. What this does is render Articulate much less useful to us and makes us lean more towards using Absorb's built-in course creation software, and/or built-in assessment options, so that we don't have to wrestle with the incompatibilities. I understand that LMS companies are trying to drive consumers to their course development software and course development companies are trying to drive consumers to their LMS, but it would be nice to see features on the roadmap that would result in better compatibility between the two. I'm guessing that those of us in this thread are not the only ones who have chosen to use a great course development software and a great LMS that happen to be different brands.
