RISE Images
Hello,
Is there a way to download a picture from a block that we insert? I see options such as replace, crop, etc. If not, this would be nice to be implemented. Thanks!
There is another option to get copies of images from a course:
Publish the course for the web, go to contents > assets, and then pull the images from there.
NOTE: Currently in Rise, when you upload an image, you can select the option to preserve its quality.
Before that option was implemented, to preserve quality, you had to add "_NOPROCESS_" to the end of the original image's file name before it was uploaded.
Unfortunately, there's no way (at least, not that I know of) to switch to the preserve-file-quality option for an image that's already been uploaded. So if you didn't use that setting, and you don't see "_NOPROCESS_" at the end of the file name, the quality won't be as good as the original when you publish the course.

ou could zoom it and then right click save as a picture, but I dont think there is a way to get the original back

Thanks for sharing your voice with us. I can see how having the ability to download original uploaded images would make managing and reusing your assets easier, and I've shared your feedback with our product team.
I'm curious, how would this fit into your workflow? Are you usually reusing images across multiple courses, or is it more about recovering assets you've already uploaded?

Sometimes when I have to change a block design I lose the image, and have to search and find it again.
