Rise Labels Translation

I’m currently working on translating the labels used in Rise courses and have encountered a couple of issues I’d like to clarify:

  1. There are some labels whose usage or location within the course structure is unclear to me. For example, Expand audio player and Collapse audio player. Could you provide guidance or documentation on where these labels appear and how they are used in context?
  2. I’ve also noticed that labels within the video player interface are not ('play' etc) and cannot be translated (full screen etc). Is this a known limitation, or is there a workaround or setting that enables translation for those elements?

Any insights or resources you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for following up with us. This behavior seems related to a possible software bug our team is investigating. I've gone ahead and opened a support case on your behalf so we can confirm. Our team will be in touch shortly via email.

  • Hi JLo-ae724387-66,

Glad to see KarlMuller helping you out!
The rest of the labels for the media player can be found by clicking on the Screen Reader Announcements tab.

    Specifically, this section:

    Hope this helps!

A big thank you to KarlMuller for the screenshots. Now I understand what these labels refer to. It’s probably just my browser (Edge for Business), as I did try hovering over the entire block and switching to other views (like tablet mode, review mode etc), but still no luck.

JoseTansengco I’ve already translated all of them (including the screen reader announcement ones), but unfortunately, the ones I asked about weren’t included. Does that mean they aren’t modifiable?

      Thanks!
