Rise not allowing image uploads in question banks
- 2 months ago
Hi Everyone!
So sorry to hear that you've been struggling to upload images to Question Banks in Rise 360!
I can confirm this behavior was related to a bug in Rise 360. I'm happy to share that we just released a new update, which fixes this issue! There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available!
Please let us know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported!
Hi Sandy!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble uploading video files to Questions from a Question Bank, in Rise 360!
We previously had this behavior logged as a bug in Rise 360, and shipped a fix for it in November of 2024. However, it appears the bug has resurfaced as I was also able to replicate the same issue on my end. I've opened a support case on your behalf, so our support engineers can take a closer look at this hiccup.
In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest uploading your videos to Questions from a Quiz Lesson first before adding those questions to a Question Bank.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
Hi StevenBenassi ,
Thanks for letting me know about the bug. I've been using the work around, but now I've run into another weird behavior. I'm trying to edit the questions in my bank, so I've deleted them from the question bank, made the edits in quiz and added them back into the question bank. When I go back to the question bank, the questions I deleted are still there. I can't get rid of them. I have the old version of the questions I deleted and the newly edited questions I just added.
I'm about to create a new question bank and start fresh, but I wanted to let you know in case this is somehow related.

Hi Sandy!
You're welcome. Thanks for following up!
I'm not seeing any open issues around Rise 360 Question Banks failing to update when deleting questions. Also, I just tested this on my end by deleting a question, then adding a new one from a Quiz Lesson. I used Google Chrome for my testing, and my Question Bank reflected the changes accurately.
It's possible you may have experienced a momentary browser glitch. If you're using a supported browser and the behavior remains after clearing your browser's cache, please connect with our team through a support case.
They'd be happy to continue working with you on this!
