Rise360 Scenario Blocks and accessibility
I notice the current "roadmap" doesn't mention the Scenario blocks getting improved accessibility features. Does that mean those improvements are off the table? If not, is there a timeline?
Hello everyone,
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update fixes the issue you encountered where screen readers skip scenario block dialogues. There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported!

Hi, Brian! We're continuously working to improve accessibility in Rise. While we don't have scenario block accessibility improvements in our Roadmap at the moment, we're tracking requests for this feature. Unfortunately, I won't be able to provide you with a timeline for this, but we'll definitely share it here if we make this change in the future!

Hi Articulate.
How accessible is the scenario block? What can I do to make it so? e.g. add a text alternative version?
What happens for a screen reader when they encounter a scenario block?
What happens for a keyboard navigator when they encounter a scenario block?
Hi Robin! A report was submitted regarding an issue in Rise 360 where screen readers skip Scenario block dialogues. We don't have an update yet regarding this matter and the Scenario block remains inaccessible at the moment.
Crystal shared an article in her reply to this forum post where you'll be able to get a status on which blocks are accessible.
I'll include this thread in the bug report and post updates as soon as they are available.

Hello.
Any chance there is some kind of video or other training material to show how this works and what the learner sees? Nothing on YouTube, and nothing on your site that Ive been able to find.
Lots of text talking about it, but nothing that explains or shows 'how' it all works for accessibility, only that it does.Hi WayneChiasson!
Thanks for reaching out!
If you're running into trouble while navigating Scenario Blocks with a screen reader, we'd be happy to help. Do you mind sharing more details on which screen reader you are working with, and any setbacks you may be encountering?
Also, seeing a link to your Rise 360 course would be helpful, so we can test the behavior on our end. Feel free to share that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
