Why does Articulate recommend saving files locally rather than to a cloud?
- Working on a network drive or an external USB drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency. For example, it could cause file corruption or prevent you from saving changes.
- You can place a copy of your project on a network drive or a USB drive for backup purposes, but avoid reopening the file until you've moved it back to your local hard drive.

Just to clarify, on my computer I can choose to save to my C drive and/or my One Drive. Neither are on a network and neither are using a USB. Is there any reason Articulate advises to use my C Drive rather than my One Drive?

DonLauren, is there an Articulate document I can point to with this information? I am trying to get my employer to buy more hard drive space so I can avoid storing my Storyline files on the cloud, and am looking for evidence to support my request. Thanks.
