Scorm Course Completion status not returned to LMS
Hi
We have storyline course published on our LMS and the reporting and tracking settings are per attached.
Our LMS has been setup to automatically assign this course when they are registered in our system and user has to click on a "Complete" button on our LMS after viewing all the slides to reflect the scorm course status as complete in our LMS.
Recently four workers have raised concerns that even after viewing all the slides and hitting "complete" button the course status hasn't been updated to "Completed".
I have already raised this with our LMS support team, not much help from them at this stage.
Can someone help to resolve this issue.

Hello Ramadevi Bandaru,
Happy to help!
It looks like the completion status in your LMS is dependent on the integrated "Complete" button that your learners need to click upon completing a course. Can I ask if you've tested your course in a different LMS to isolate if the behavior is specific to your LMS? You can use SCORM Cloud to compare.
One other thing that you could check is if the resume behavior of your Results Slide is set to "Reset to initial state". With the resume behavior set to this, any trigger that is set to fire at the start of the timeline will trigger when your learners resume the course on the Results Slide, including any submit triggers.
If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case for testing. We'll delete it when we're done!

Hi
I came across your post about SCORM completion not updating in your LMS, especially with the external “Complete” button.
I’ve seen similar cases where completion depends on LMS-side actions, but SCORM runtime doesn’t always register the status correctly — especially with timing or session issues.
The fact that it affects only some users makes it even more likely to be a runtime/LMS interaction problem rather than just settings.
If you're still dealing with this, I’d be happy to take a quick look and help identify the exact cause.
No charge — just interested in real cases.
