Screen Reader Accessibility for Button States
- 3 months ago
Hi, all!
I have some great news to share! We just released a new version of Storyline 360 (Update 103), which included a fix for the issue where screen readers didn't always announce the visited state of buttons or shapes.
To take advantage of this update, simply launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find step-by-step instructions here.

Hi, Alyssa
Your video says for first distracter: "Think about the learner. Don't set up your questions as "gotcha" questions. radio button not checked. To change the selection, press up/down arrow."
The issue is when follow the instruction to press up/down arrow, the user can't change the selection status of the distracter. Instead, user could press space bar to change the selection.
So, the fix would be let JAWS read "....To change the selection, press space bar"
or
fix the up/down arrow and let up/down arrow execute the radio button selection.
Wondering if this issue has been fixed?
Thank you.
