Screen recording displays image inside of an image

(It's almost like reading/watching a mystery story...)
The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking that
(1) The background image seems to be generated correctly.
(2) The foreground movie is the one that is reducing the output.
So, when I change the screen resolution to 100% (96 DPI), I actually don't solve the problem (I just make the background have the same problem as the foreground).
