Screen recording records entire screen not the recording area define

Hi there, I have a storyline file that is set to 1280x720 screen size. I want to record information from my screen. When I select Record screen, the recording area is defined as 1280x720. However ...

I'm having a similar issue, and wondering if there was a common issue/solution to this?

    Hi Jessica,

    Thank you for reaching out! 

    Reviewing Maryly's previous case, it looks like a setting was changing, which caused the Full-Screen recording to happen. Could I have you launch a screen recording in Storyline and see if the Full-Screen option is checked:

    After making sure the Full-Screen option isn't selected, could I have you try making a sample recording to see if you get the same results?
