Screen recording records entire screen not the recording area define

I have a storyline file that is set to 1280x720 screen size. I want to record information from my screen. When I select Record screen, the recording area is defined as 1280x720. However ...
I am having the same issue I have my screen recording set to 1280 x 720 story size and it captures the whole screen- seems it doesn't like capturing when there is more than one screen in use - maybe something for the team to troubleshoot
