Screen recordings
- 8 months agoHi spinningman101! Sorry to hear you've run into this setback with screen recordings from Storyline! Glad to see Kendal has been helping you. I have some follow-up questions to help me understand your setup a little better: - Are you authoring with locally stored .story files? Working off of a network, or shared drive can sometimes introduce erratic behavior and latency.
- Are you working with a single, or multi-monitor display?
- Does performing a repair of your Storyline installation help to improve the issue?
If you're still having trouble, we'd be happy to take a look at the problematic .story files. Feel free to upload a copy here in the discussion or privately through a support case. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi there.
One idea is to make sure you have updated to the latest version of Storyline. Storyline recently had a glitch in its screen recordings where a user would go from Slide A to Slide B and then receive a quick flash of Slide A again before finally settling on Slide B. Perhaps this is the glitch that you are seeing. A recent update to Storyline appears to have fixed this.
