Screenreader mentions redundant area information when reading player button
Dear E-Learning Heroes,
we are using NVDA to test ScreenReader-compatibility of our courses. When using the tab-key to navigate through the Storyline-Player buttons, NVDA reads out additional "layout" information when moving from the "cc"-button to the "back"-button. (It reads out "slide-navigation-navigation..."). Only after those layout information it mentions the actual name of the button.
On the other hand, when switching from the "next"-button to the "back"-button, the behavior is as expected, and only the button name is being read out. So the issue only occurs when jumping from the "cc"-button to the button to the right of it.
Do you know how to configure Storyline (or NVDA) to prevent it from reading out these additional layou information?
I've attached the Storyline file as well as the export.
Thanks and best regards,
Stefan
