Scrubbing the timeline : actual view ?

This thread is five years old!
It has seen more than two versions of Storyline (SL2, SL360, SL3) but there hasn't been the tiniest bit of information about this feature.
Maybe we deserve some news as a birthday present?
I think after five years you might have a clear idea about implementing this feature or not.
