Search function storyline

Is it possible to have a "control F" kind of feature in storlyline? This way a user can look for a word across all slides to find what he/she is looking for.

There is such a feature. On the "Home" tab ribbon, use the "Find/Replace" dropdown. The primary option here is to "find text."

When you enter your text string to search for, the engine searches the entire file, including questions, answers, and layers.

Storyline includes a handy Search feature in the player controls, but it only appears when the Menu is enabled, since the search tab displays alongside the menu. When you click the Search icon, you can type a word or phrase. Any slides containing that term will appear in a list below, and you can select one to jump directly to it.

If navigation is locked or restricted, slides that contain the searched term will appear in the results but won’t be clickable until they’re unlocked or previously visited.

It can also be hidden and activated with a JavaScript keyboard shortcut, but honestly, I don’t see much purpose in doing that since the feature already works well as is.
