Seeker bar issue Storyline

Hi there - looking for some advice please!

Using Storyline and I have a video in a scene, set to play when 'play' button is clicked. The seeker bar is set in the player to allow drag after completion.

The problem I am having is that in one particular scene, the seeker bar is still progressing even after the video has finished. The learner has to wait for another 3/4 seconds before it finishes and they can select 'next'.

Any ideas? Its only happening on 1 scene! I have checked the video file and there are no pauses at the end.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you're referring to the seekbar in the player frame, not the one that appears when you hover over the video if Show Controls is enabled?

If so, this is because the seekbar reflects the length of your timeline on the base layer. It's independent of your video and can be shorter or longer than your video - they're not linked.

To get around this, I usually trigger the video play from timeline start, and set the length of the base layer timeline to match the length of your video. In this way, the seekbar matches more closely the timing of the video, and can be used to control it.

Alternatively, hide the seekbar in the player window and Show Controls on the video for a seekbar that is definitely linked to the length of the video.
