Self-assessment options in Rise?
I am working on a course for our staff on personal stress management and would like to include an interactive option for them to self-assess their own stress level and stress management techniques. There is no grading associated with the course, and no correct answer to any question. What is the best block or quiz function in Rise to accomplish this?

I've built a free self assessment builder tool you can use right inside Rise. I'll be adding this to my Rise Canvas tool in the next update. Any feedback to add features or improve is welcomed.

Plus one for a self-assessment feature, please! Really important for the online learning experience in the mental health space. This could also be solved by making the quiz feature more editable, so we could have an option to not have a correct answer.

Hi Leetea and CarmenWaterman,
Thanks for sharing your use cases.
Since this discussion began, we've introduced Survey Blocks in Rise 360 Labs, which support a variety of response types, including rating scales and open-text responses.
I'm curious whether Survey Blocks would meet your needs for self-assessments, or if you're looking for additional functionality, such as scoring, saving results, reporting, or providing learners with a summary of their responses. We'd love to learn more about your specific requirements.

We would really like to have a self-assessment feature as well especially for Board of Directors who are required to complete self-assessments in terms of their ability to perform fiduciary duties.

I'm designing a course at present and some of the key features are self assessment. Would be good to get this on the Roadmap as it will add a lot of functunality to eLearning.

Yes, please, I need this self-assessment feature, for the exact use case that Sarah B. posted in 2018. :D

Thanks Andrew that's a really thoughtful solution!

One way to do this is to have a Quiz at the beginning of the lesson and formulate the questions such that certain scores = take these lessons first, or in such and such an order.
You could do that using feedback at the end with instructions for how learners might read over their answers and then choose the appropriate route. Maybe?

I agree, self-assessment is a great way to start a course. Just followed the link and see that there's only 6 items on the roadmap – plenty of room to add a self-assessment block. :D Please add it to the roadmap.

Hi articulate team - a self-assessment option would be really important and helpful, as it is one key element of eLearning. Please consider adding it to the roadmap. Thank you!
Also - if anyone has found a not-too-complicated way to integrate a self-assessment, ideally visualised in a radar chart/spider graph - I'd be delighted to learn about it. Cheers
