sending too many xapi statements

Hi, I would love some help/advice. We are using LearnDash and Tin Canny Reporting. We have many users logged in at the same time. We are overloading the server with XAPI statements. How can I have a lesson where I can only send completion data? or Score for a quiz. I saw where I should limit or batch xapi calls. I was going to republish the lessons/quizzes as html5 and use javascript to send the xapi statements. I have not gotten this to work. I would love any advice, suggestions, or a point in the right direction. Thank you so much for your help.
