Set time restriction of a Scorm file
Hey,
I'm curious if it would be possible to limit the usage of a Scorm file. I'm aware that I can do so in an LMS, but I was wondering if there is something such as a timer in Scorm file. I'm licensing courses to companies but I'd like to limit the usage - similar to a subscription - e.g. the client paid for one year, so the Scorm file would be active for a year and then be inactive after one year.
Have you ever done anything like that or heard of a plug-in?
I appreciate all ideas.

Here is Carlos' answer:
It appears that you need to modify the SCORM file or the published output of the course. Please note that Articulate software and its published output are supported as they are. We don't offer advice on customizing the published output to work in a specific LMS environment. I'd recommend submitting your question to our community to see if others have found a solution for a similar situation: https://community.articulate.com/discussIf you're looking to make customizations for your LMS, you may want to consider hiring a consultant to assist you. We recommend Rustici Software. You can contact them here: https://scorm.com Thanks so much for sharing within the thread, Friederike!
