short key freeform questions

Hi Shay,

I'm sorry you're having this issue with shortcut keys! You should be able to use any key in those questions. I tested your file in the preview and I was able to advance through the course using the shortcut keys. It does show that the answer is incorrect but the slides do advance. Are you seeing the issue after you publish? If so, how are you publishing?

That's my problem the answer should be right. Why is it incorrect?
I published it now and it acts the same, unfortunately...

Why do the keys comma and period come as incorrect?

Freeform "Shortcut Key" not working with*:
,;.:-_+*?\´`'#{}[]äöüÄÖÜß

ok are:
a to z, A to Z, 0 to 9, control-<char>, ALT-<char> and some more
!"§$%&/()=

* tested with german keyboard layout

Adding here a helpful workaround that John Carlo Sipagan,  from Articulate Support gave me:

 

1. Add a freeform pick one quiz slide.
2. Add a checkbox outside the slide.
3. Go to form view and designate the checkbox as the correct answer.
4. Go to slide view and add the trigger to change the state of the checkbox to selected when the user presses comma (,).
5. Disable the original submit trigger.
6. Add a trigger to submit the pick one interaction when the user presses comma.
