You can insert a Cue Point (C on keyboard, with the pointer in the right place at the beginning of your old audio file) and then use the Align to Cuepoint in the menu, after selecting the new audio file. I will go back to wherever the Cue Point is. If multiple bits, you can use muultiple Cuepoints (they get numbered automatically in sequence and then select the correct Cuepoint in the list, which will also carry numbering)
