Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing with your LMS reporting.
It sounds like you see a completion status. The completion status monitors when learners finish a course. The completion status is either Complete or Incomplete. The success status monitors how learners perform.
When choosing Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed, the completion and success status are sent to the LMS. These options are most likely to record both completion and success statuses in your LMS. If you do not want the completion status reported, you may consider using Completed/Incomplete or Completed/Failed.
